A large Gambols quail is created in sterling silver inlaid with bone, jet, turquoise, mother of pearl and coral. From the Zuni Indian Pueblo of New Mexico.
This realistic style of inlay is quite recognizable, but unsigned, and we can't remember their name! We have actually been selling these for over thirty years. This one was purchased in the 1970s.
Made as a brooch, it is 3 1/4" tall.
