This 1930s era textile is woven with hand spun native wool, natural white, brown and black, aniline dyed red, turquoise, blue, orange and burgundy, plus a vegetal dyed gold. That was lots of work! And then she started weaving.

The lay out of this rug is quite open and light feeling. It is pretty straight sided for an old textile, plus it has been well cared for, no holes and a minor stain as seen in photo 2.

Dimensions are 42" by 82", will make a nice floor rug or hang it on the wall!
