A painted Mimbres bat spreads his wings over the miniature pottery seed jar by Thomas Natseway, Laguna Pueblo.

Traditionally hand built with native clay, painted with black bee plant, pit fired. Signed.

This beautifully designed miniature is from the 1980s, when Thomas was making larger works. This piece is 1 1/8" tall by 1 1/2" diameter.
