A wonderful shape to this Hopi pottery vase created by Agnes Nahsonhoya makes a very modern statement! Agnes is the daughter of Pauline and Justin Setalla, named for her grandmother, Agnes Setalla, all famous Hopi potters.

Traditionally hand built with coils of native clay, the unslipped pottery is delicately painted with minerals including white, then pit fired to a light golden color.

This amazing pottery vase stands 14" tall and is 12" across the low shoulder. What a feat of engineering, it sits on a small base and is beautifully balanced.

Butterflies and Kachina Maidens are above the shoulder while the underside is scattered with stars. Signed.

Buyer pays $30.00 for packing, shipping and insurance.
