Santa Clara Pueblo Indian artist Grace Medicine Flower created this fine sgrafitto seed jar in 1974. Traditionally built pottery is finely carved through the highly polished red slip. The 2 1/4" ball shaped pottery features two eagles separated with bands of intricate design. This early work by Grace is fine and in mint condition. Grace Medicine Flower is the daughter of Camilio Tafoya and the sister of Joseph Lonewolf. Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance. |
