New pottery bowl by Karen Charley, Hopi Indian, daughter of Marcella Kahe. Karen is inspired by Sityatki shards found near her home. Traditionally hand built with coils of native clay, stone burnished then painted with red and pink slips and bee plant. Pit fired. This pretty jar stands 5 1/2" tall by 5 1/4" across the shoulder.
