Sila Claw Navajo Pottery Bowl
Navajo Indian pottery, that is folk art, was created by Bertha and Silas Claw in the 1990s. Bertha would make a traditional clay bowl and Silas would decorate with applied clay and commercial bright paints. Inspired by the world around him, Silas featured his corral with donkeys and red bulls. This is one of the Claws signature pieces.

The bowl is 4" deep by 6 1/2" diameter. Wonderful original condition. Signed.

This pottery by the Claws is a real find! Just out of a local collection. Bertha and Silas Claw are featured in the Rosenak's book "The People Speak, Navajo Indian Folk Art". They were also the subject of a biographical article in the Spring issue of American Indian Art Magazine.

Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance.
