Traditionally made pottery jar or olla by Virginia Garcia of San Juan and Santa Clara Pueblos. Virginia is the sister of Greg Garcia and Tina Garcia, all accomplished potters! The graceful olla shape is formed from coils of native clay, stone burnished to a high shine then pit fired and smoked which gives this red jar a pretty depth of color.
