Large Hopi Indian Wicker style woven basketry tray from Third Mesa has lots of motion with the Whirlwind or Dust Devil. At 14 1/4" it is our largest old Hopi basket. Woven between 1930-1950, it is in very fine original condition. Three colors of gold have softened with age, probably plant dyes, judging by the back side. Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping. |
