Neil David Sr. carved this wonderfully animated Warrior Mouse in 2000. This is not actually a Kachina but a part of Hopi folk lore. The little mouse saves the day against the chicken hawk, kind of a fable. Nicely carved cottonwood root figure with a tomahawk and a bow, also a large feather on his head. The Mouse stands 5" tall, the base is 3 1/2" by 4". Signed. Buyer pays $12.00 for shipping. |
