Wonderfully shaped olla is sgrafitto carved with a hummingbird sipping from a medicine flower on this miniature by Grace Medicine Flower of Santa Clara Pueblo. Daughter of Camilio Sunflower Tafoya, sister of Joseph Lonewolf, Grace has the most natural style of artistry. Standing 2 1/2" tall, beautifully stone burnished and lightly carved, dated 1993.
