Indian basket with a history, this single rod willow degikup is said to have been purchased by our elderly collector's mother from Abe Cohen's Emporium in Nevada. It certainly has the age to show for it.The willow has the typical four point designs, some are martynia, some red bud and some dyed yellow. The Washo baskets have an oval start which then becomes a round bowl. 6 3/4" diameter by 3" deep. Old age patina, some missing stitches, no coil breaks.
