Frogwoman Hopi Wedding Vase
The most beautiful wedding vase to come from Hopi are those created by the hand of Joy Navasie, Frogwoman.

Born in 1919, Joy is the daughter of Paqua, the original Frog Lady, and is the mother of a whole clan of pottery makers.

This 1980s era Wedding vase stands 10" tall at the bridge, the spouts are 8" tall and the body is 6" across. Traditionally hand built with native clay, stone burnished and polychrome painted then pit fired. This pretty vase has some blushing on the one spout which is warm and pleasing.

Signed with her frog, perfect original condition.

Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
