Hochani Kachina is borrowed from the Rio Grande Pueblos, now is a guard at Hopi. One piece carving of cottonwood root by Clayton Kaniatobe of Second Mesa has added ears, eyes and snout. Standing or hanging 9 1/2" tall, the arms are carved in the belly ache style. Hochani is decorated with feathers and a yucca headband. Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping. |
