Very simple and elegant fret is woven with devils claw against a willow background in this small Chemehuevi Indian coiled basket.7 1/2" diameter by 2" deep. Perfect original condition, this basket has NOT been oiled. There is a 1 1/2" light stain as pictured. No missing stitches. on the back in ink is L-1190 over 680, the inventory number from the Francis Xavier Ammann Collection. Excellent little basket for a sweeet price!
