Charming little boy lounges on the back of the pottery turtle created by Antonita Cordero Suina, daughter of Helen Cordero.
This delightful storyteller turtle is 7" nose to tail and 3 1/2" tall to the boy's feet. Painted details include the blanket on the turtle's back, the boy' fancy shirt and a nugget necklace that is tied around the turtle's neck.
Perfect original condition, circa 1980s. We have never had a piece by Helen's daughter, this is really rare!
