Miniature red pottery olla by Art Cody, known as Haungooah, Kiowa Sioux of Oklahoma. He shares the name Haungooah with his grandfather, a legendary 19th century Army Scout and ledger artist.

Art Cody married Santa Clara Pueblo Indian Martha Suazo in the late 1960s and moved to the Pueblo where they collaborated on tiny pottery, she made them and he carved them. They began winning prizes with their very first miniature... Click for details

Perfect miniature of a Santa Clara Pueblo pottery bowl by Linda Tafoya, 1985. This was a year after she won an award for Outstanding Traditional Miniatures and before she was Oyenque or Sanchez.

1 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" diameter, this little gem is perfectly stone burnished and deeply carved.

Mimbres style creature is sgrafitto carved on this miniature seed pot by Kwa Povi, Stella Tanner and Tsigowanu, San Juan Roy.

One inch tall and one inch diameter, signed by both artists, dated 9-17-84. Very nicely stone burnished red slip, delicate carving and enhanced with white and blue clay slips.
