At 14 1/2" diameter, this is the largest Maria pottery plate we have ever had! And its being red is even more exciting as there were very few plates fired to red by Maria and her son Popovi Da.

Traditionally hand built with coils of native clay, plates were the most difficult to make successfully, but Maria was adept! A fine drying crack is apparent on the back, it is superficial and stable.... Click for details
