Beautiful ivory colored clay is expertly formed into the classic Nampeyo shape! This small Hopi pottery jar is 4" tall by 7 1/4" diameter. In fine original condition with no restoration, the jar is from circa 1920. Probably painted by Annie as Nampeyo was loosing her eyesight. Note the painted stepped clouds above the Sityatki design and also the knots below. Wonderful polychrome on the light clay.... Click for details
