At 15" tall this is an impressive old style carving of the Zuni Sipikne who appears with the Salako at the Winter Solstice.Carved from dried cottonwood root, this traditional Hopi Kachina by Kevin Chavarria has wonderful added details: yucca whips, carved deer scapula and the parrot, wrapped with turquoise beads.
